Positive vibes dominate the cultural day of EUROPEADA
Footballers playing guitar? Die Toten Hosen in Frisian? Prosciutto, cheese and pálinka? We got it all covered at the Cultural Day at EUROPEADA 2024 in Knivsberg, near Aabenraa/Apenrade in Denmark on Wednesday. After three days of hard-fought football matches, it was a day of partnership and party, an excellent occasion for the 33 teams to finally meet each other and discover each other’s culture, traditions and gastronomy. Around 1000 people joined the party. Besides the cultural program, the players could also try out their skills, or maybe luck at different skill based games such as Megadart, Tschip or Football Freestyle before getting back to the world of dribbles, tackles, passes and shots. On Thursday the European Football Championship of Minorities resumes with the placement games and the quarterfinals in the men’s tournament and the semifinals in the women’s tournament.
