WOMEN
Last edition`s winners, Team Koroška/Kärnten lost to Sydslesvig in a balanced, technically attractive match for the third place, which at times suffered under the strong wind. The match was only decided by penalty shoot-out and ended 4:5.
The Slovenians from Carinthia had initially taken a 2:0 lead (25th and 34th minute) despite the Sydslesvig team's superiority. Just one minute later, Sydslesvig scored their first goal and eventually deservedly tied the score at 2:2 (53.) The game remained that way until the end. Without extra time, a penalty shoot-out followed, which Sydslesvig won 3:2.
Places 5 to 9 were decided in a round robin, with each team playing each other over two days.
In the decisive match for the fifth place, Nordschleswig, who were level on points (4 each) up to that point, met Les Ladines, the Ladin women's team, but lost 3:1. Nevertheless, they consider their sixth place in their first appearance at EUROPEADA a complete success.
The following teams are:
7th Serbske Mustwo
